STRATEGIC. CREATIVE. EXPERIENCED. RESPECTED.
Start-Thinking was co-founded in 2002 by John Thompson who in 2005, brought on partner Kris Schindler to grow the company from a technology shop that developed complex and highly specialized marketing products to a full-fledged, full-service agency.
Some may consider us small but our hands-on marketing, advertising and public relations firm provides big agency know-how on a personal level. Collectively our team has 40 years of knowledge and experience that we leverage to deliver communications solutions to clients who appreciate innovation, efficiency and effectiveness.
Start-Thinking is known for providing clients with original ideas, customized service and personal attention through memorable product promotions, dynamic special events and increased public awareness.
In the public relations arena, we manage retainer and project-based accounts, working as partners with clients to deliver targeted, comprehensive and highly effective PR and marketing campaigns.
As a result of our established relationships with media contacts in traditional, trade and electronic media arenas, we are able to strategically place relevant feature stories and profiles on behalf of our clients.
Our marketing capabilities allow us to provide a full-service plan and support our public relations and event efforts with a greater variety of tactics. We integrate measurable marketing into our client work from creating long-term brand strategies to forming unique partnerships and targeted promotions. We approach marketing as a critical component to any client program and can assist in implementing competitive analysis, market research, co-branding initiatives and promotional opportunities.
Start-Thinking uses extensive contacts and relationships to pair companies with similar objectives/images/goals and help our clients to derive added value through combined resources. Our focus is to build long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships that leverage and build on each company’s brand equity through cross-promotions, co-branded initiatives, sponsorships or event partnerships.
From invitation design printing and mailing, finding the right location, themed decor, entertainment, catering, security to valet, Start-Thinking is fully equipped to produce a range of events from conception to completion, including:
- charity benefits
- fashion shows
- grand openings
- movie premieres
- product launches
We can offer targeted sampling campaigns for new product launches, restaurant or store openings as well as qualitative market research among a focused group of high-profile individuals. We can manage pre- and post-event press, provide online registration and event reminder services, facilitate live and online auctions, secure sponsors to underwrite or contribute product for events and even work with the sponsor to ensure visibility and media exposure.
