Let Holidays Ring

Going to a concert late is something you never want to do; but I was so intrigued to see Heart of America Men’s Chorus, that I rushed back from my sister’s graduation from K-State. I didn’t know what to expect from this group. Others told me that they are really fun and full of life performers. When I got to the Orpheum I found a seat in the balcony and was ready for the experience.

The music was outstanding! You could tell the audience loved it. With every song and jazz hands from Heart of America Men’s Chorus, the audience could not contain themselves. They were singing and dancing along in their seats. Looking from above it was like a sea of people having a party below me. I even found myself getting into “My True Love Gave to Me.” As the concert came to an end I couldn’t believe it was over. I was ready for more. I really regret not seeing the first half of the concert. I’m told some of the men dressed as Elvis.

Heart of America Men's Chorus

The Heart of America Men’s Chorus did not only sing and dance their hearts out that night, they warmed others hearts by collecting donations for Positive Directions Daily Bread program. With the donations collected they were able to help feed a lot of hungry people this holiday season.

I’m looking forward to working with and getting to know the gentlemen in Heart of America Men’s Chorus. These guys know how to have a good time and most importantly know how to put on a great show. I can’t wait for the Let Freedom Sing concert in April. This time I’m not missing a single song.
